Bringing together sport and prestige, Piaget’s Polo watch is fashioned in white or pink gold and its chronograph – more precisely, flyback chronograph – is elevated to the status of star complication.
From gold watch to titanium chronograph watch
Since 1979, four letters have spelled ‘luxury sports watch’ at Piaget: Polo. To celebrate 30 years of this icon of sporting chic, Piaget launched a new generation of Polo watches in 2009 with a line that was even more contemporary: Piaget Polo FortyFive. While it retained the visual styling of the originals, it no longer came in gold, but in metals that were much more of a surprise in a luxury watch, like titanium and steel. With its diameter enlarged to 45 mm, the case was perfectly in tune with contemporary trends, while also recalling the average duration of a polo match.
The Piaget Polo FortyFive Lady collection was conceived in the same sporting chic spirit as its masculine counterpart, but its resolutely feminine, versatile elegance makes it look just as stylish worn with an evening dress as with a casual outfit. This luxury watch comes in several versions, all enhanced by the alluring sparkle of diamonds studded around the bezel, dial or bracelet; depending on the model, it is powered by a mechanical or quartz movement, encased in either white or pink gold.
